Extend a Referred Pre-authorization Transaction-تمديد فترة التحويل للموافقه الطبية

This feature enables healthcare providers to extend an authorization for the referred patient (Refer In) i.e. patient had visited some other hospital from where Pre-Authorization request was sent. Note: Currently, all payer, assigns an Approval Reference No to referred patient and name of the provider.


To extend a Referral Pre-authorization Request Transaction, you need to follow below mentioned steps: -


Step 1: login to https://eclaims.waseel.com/en/

Step 2: from left side menu click on Authorization -> Request Pre Authorization 

Step 2: Enter “Pre Authorization Info” section (all fields with are mandatory) 

Step 3: Enter the “Approval Reference No”. as payer assigned to patient.

Step 4: Select referring provider from the drop down, if it’s not clear healthcare provider can select other as well.

Step 5: Enter Care team.

Step 6: Enter Diagnosis Information (Field with * are mandatory).

Step 7: Add a category to Supporting Info Section for “Reason for Visit” and choose “Referred” from the drop down

Step 8: Enter Items Information (Field with * are mandatory).

Step 9: Enter accident details. It is an optional section under which Healthcare provider need to enter details, if patient encountered any accident. 

Step 10: Click on the “Request Authorization” to submit the authorization Request. After filling all the authorization request details, this is the last step to submit authorization. 


Note: While submission of Pre-Authorization request, if user missed to enter any mandatory information, then system will give details of missed. If there happens any kind validation error while submitting any Pre-Authorization request, then user will get error message.
