This feature enables healthcare providers to submit an authorization for a patient to a payer. This mean provider can refer a patient to another facility (Referral Out), where a service or product is available.


To perform Referral Pre-authorization Request Transaction with Package Item, you need to follow below mentioned steps: -


Step 1: login to https://eclaims.waseel.com/en/

Step 2: from left side menu click on Pre Authorization -> Request Pre Authorization page.

Step 3: Turn on “Referral” option. We don’t provide option to select hospital or pharmacy that the patient referred to.

Step 4: Enter “Pre Authorization Info” section (all fields with  are mandatory)

Step 5: Enter Care team.

Step 6: Enter Diagnosis Information (Field with * are mandatory) 

Step 7: Provide Supporting Info (Optional).

Step 8Enter Items Information (Field with * are mandatory). 

Step 9Enter accident details. It is an optional section under which Healthcare provider need to enter details, if patient encountered any accident. 

Step 10Click on the “Request Authorization” to submit the authorization Request. After filling all the authorization request details, this is the last step to submit authorization. 


Note: While submission of Pre-Authorization request, if user missed to enter any mandatory information, then system will give details of missed. If there happens any kind validation error while submitting any Pre-Authorization request, then user will get error message.
