The healthcare provider can edit a specific service from an already submitted authorization request. Through this functionality, the authorization will be submitted again with edited service. 


Note: User can edit any information including Diagnosis, Care Team, Supporting Info, Items. Following steps are taken to cancel the item,

Step 1: Navigate to Pre Authorization -> Pre Authorization Transaction

Step 2: Click on the three dot of the transaction and Select “Add Related / Follow Up” button. Note: The transaction shall be displayed in Editable Mode

Step 3: Select Edit and edit service item accordingly.

Step 4: Click on “Request Authorization” to submit the authorization transaction.



The healthcare provider can cancel a complete authorization request; however, user can submit cancel request for any authorization transaction except authorization with “Error” status. Furthermore, submitting a cancel request does not guarantee that the payer system will accept the request and cancel the transaction, for some business cases, the payer may reject the cancel request. The cancel request is submitted to payer receives response in real time. Following steps need to be followed.


Step 1: Navigate to Pre Authorization - > Pre Authorization Transaction

Step 2: Click on three dots, and choose Cancel.

Step 3: Choose the cancelation reason from the predefined and Click “Confirm”

Step 4: A success message displayed to the user.


Note: An error message displayed to the user with the message if the cancelation transaction gets failed.
