This function enables healthcare providers to check the latest status of the transaction, if for any technical reason the poll request failed to update the authorization request for a long time period, for example over an hour. This transaction resubmits the exact request to NPHIES system which in result returns the last response pushed to NPHIES by a payer. It is recommended to not use this transaction repeatedly and frequently, as in result it may increase errors in NPHIES system. Note: The Inquiry transaction is configured to be not submitted within 10 min of the initial authorization request submission.
Following are the steps:
Step 1: login to https://eclaims.waseel.com/en/
Step 2: from left side menu click on Preauthorization - > Preauthorization Transaction
Step 3: Click on the “Inquiry Icon” available at column name “Inquiry”,
Note: This will submit the request to NPHIES and updates the transaction with updated status.
