Check Status function enables healthcare providers to check on the processing status of a prior submission. The status check help to identify that the authorization request has been processed and the information is ready to be fetched from NPHIES Queue. The “complete” status check response initiates a poll request (A new request sent to NPHIES to pull the latest information from NPHIES) which in result updates the authorization with the latest status.
Note: Status check cannot be requested for transaction with Error status. Moreover, Waseel-Connect is configured to send poll request automatically at backend every five minutes
Following are the steps,
Step 1: login to https://eclaims.waseel.com/en/
Step 2: from left side menu click on Pre Authorization –> Pre Authorization Transaction
Step 3: Click on “Check Status” Arrow
Note: Please wait after clicking to receive a response. A status check request is sent to payer, receives response in real time
Step 4: The Processing Status is displayed. There can be following Processing status,
- Queued: The authorization request has been received but processing has not begun.
- Completed: The authorization request processing is completed and the information is ready to be polled.
- Error: One or more errors have been detected in the Authorization
- Partial Process: No errors have been detected in the Claim and some of the adjudication has been performed.
- Failed: The transaction has been failed, the error message is displayed for error transaction
